The Juilliard School-trained musician Taylor Wellinghoff is a two-time cancer survivor whose music blends theatrical storytelling, folk roots, indie edge, and Americana influence into a sound uniquely her own.
Raised deep in the woods of New Hampshire by a saw-playing father and Deadhead mother, Taylor grew up surrounded by eclectic music and unconventional creativity. Her grandfather, Warren a Broadway singer and theater founder introduced her to oldies, classical music, and stage performance from an early age, shaping the dramatic and emotional style she brings to her work today.
A multi-instrumentalist, Taylor performs with keys, guitar, musical saw, and a powerful, expressive vocal style that moves between haunting intimacy and explosive energy. In May 2026, she independently released her debut single, Stupid Games, Stupid Prizes, now streaming on all major platforms.
Beyond music, Taylor uses her platform to bring visibility to chronic illness and disability, speaking openly about living with ulcerative colitis, Autism, May-Thurner syndrome, Factor V Leiden, and blindness in one eye. Her work is rooted in resilience, vulnerability, and connection turning survival into art.
