Vondell J. Burns is a storyteller, community architect and creative steward committed to building spaces where people can create with care, intention, and dignity. A graduate of Howard University and a Goldman Sachs alum, her work spans storytelling and brand strategy across financial services, venture capital, real estate, and adjacent creative industries.

She is the founder of Thankless Production, a creative studio and consultancy practice that uses storytelling, brand, and programming to support artists, founders, and institutions building work with long-term impact. Through Thankless Production, Vondell develops projects and platforms that prioritize sustainability, depth, and creative integrity.

She is also the founder of NDA Haus, an intentional gathering and membership-based community designed to support focused, values-aligned creative lives through rhythm, accountability and shared practice.

Saturday Scribe is a flagship program of NDA Haus—a weekly analog writing practice and growing national community that invites people to return to the page consistently, communally, and without performance pressure.

Vondell is drawn to artists building in private—bedrooms, garages, home studios—often unseen but deeply committed to their work. Her approach prioritizes discernment over exposure and connection over performance, creating spaces where creatives are recognized without being extracted from, and supported without being rushed into visibility.
