‍Jamie Pierson is an artist, urban designer, educator, and community organizer deeply rooted in Tulsa, OK. Through their company Scraps Designs, they partner with neighborhood groups, cultural institutions, and government entities to create public art and public space activations that encourage community interaction and playful engagement. Jamie is the creator of the Pop-Up Playscape, a loose parts play set built from reclaimed materials, that appears regularly at area community events and public spaces. Jamie also creates paintings that use accessible visual language to depict urbanist ideas about shared public spaces.Their murals can be seen throughout Tulsa, including the Arts District, Kendall-Whittier, Crosbie Heights, and Riverparks.
